Here is the mounting solution for your PX3 unit! You will now be able to now place or orient your PX3 above to the left or right, even below your KX3! You will be able to insert and remove the PX3 with this mount and not need any tools other than your fingers. There are no fasteners to lose or additional tools to carry. This mount is made from the same durable Poly-carbonate plastic as the covers. This mount is FLEXIBLE and does not shatter or crack like acrylic plastics.
This mount has been fabricated with AMPS standard 4 bolt pattern with molded bolt head seats. This allows the PX3 to be mated to a variety of surfaces/objects using any of the base units of your preference from companies like Lido, RAM or D-67. The user will provide the desired length of #10 (10-32 or 10-24 work fine) or 5mm bolts for the other countries, to attach this mount to their choice of the base units, due to varied dimensions of these aftermarket bases. I found that using an acorn nut makes for a great look that is rounded and safe.
To use this product the user must keep the thumb screws on the PX3 body tightened, prior to inserting into the mount. The mount tabs can be flexed away from the radio allowing the install and removal of the PX3 with thumb pressure.

I had the opportunity to see the prototype KX3 and PX3 mounts in November. I was very excited to receive both mounts. Well worth the wait. Typical of the products I received from Scott they are top notch. Had one minor shipping problem which Scott took care of immediately. The only reason I mention this is to commend Scott not only for an excellent product line but his service is above top notch. I have the KX3 and PX3 end panels and covers. They are equally top notch. When I got my KX3 Several years ago the first accessories I purchased were the side plates and later the mount. I was much impressed with both the concept and superb quality of the product. Now I have included the PX3 in my /P station line-up (It came with the side-KX side panels and cover) the mount was a must have. The product was every bit as good as I have come to expect and it was dispatched very quickly and arrived at my doorstep only a couple of days after dispatch. This demonstrates unequivocally a top flight to customer service. The product itself is beautifully created and finished. I cannot recommend these products highly enough, they are superb. No I have no pecuniary interest other than being a very satisfied customer. These accessories are the absolute tops.
