I like many of you see the need for a better VFO A Knob. This is the new injection molded VFO A knob with new ways to spin it, using a traditional finger dimple as well as a new ‘pimple’ (sounds bad but wait till you try it!) in addition, it has a soft rubber ring for traction to spin the knob. Those that have tried it out love it!
Your factory VFO knob is lack luster at best, this knob is light and a simple operation to swap out. You just gently pull off the factory knob and press this one in its place!
Currently this knob will ship free if ordered with any other products that will be shipped in a small or medium flat rate box. If you are just ordering the knob, I am working on a less expensive solution outside of priority flat rate mail, as of now this will need a small flat rate box for shipping. For my international customers, I am not sure how best to save the expensive postage required for this product. I will update this listing when I have that in place.

Purchased prior to my new KX2 arriving. The original tuning knob is a little too plain for my taste. After seeing this product and reading the reviews it is an easy decision to spend the few dollars it cost. It arrived promptly, was well packaged, and appears to be of excellent workmanship. Looking forward to my KX2 arriving so I can install it. Any chance of having a replacement knob for my K1 produced ? (just dreaming Scott, I read your reply regarding the KX3)

Just received the knob for my KX2. Got the original one off, and pushed this new one on. Tight as it shud be. Hopefully got it on all the way and didn’t harm anything pushing it down, took some pressure to get it on. 73.
Quick comment: this is a friciton fit to the plastic encoder shaft DO NOT push it on too far as you can damage the encoder! Scott NA0MT

So much better than Elecrafts tuning knob, by a mile. Elecraft’s knob does the job but it literally looks like a plastic bottlecap with less detail. This knob is still light weight, which is important as Elecraft says to not use weighted knobs on the KX2 due to wear of components. This knob has character with 2 dimples, an innie and outie and a nice rubber outer with texture for ease of rotation and feel to know where your at on the knob without ever looking. Elecraft should buy and put this tuning knob on all KX2’s from their factory.
