Our mounts for the KX2, KX3 and PX3 all have a bolt pattern molded into them that uses the industry standard of an AMPS pattern.1.181″ x 1.496″ converts to 30.0 mm x 38.0 mm (exact: 29.997 mm x 37.998 mm). For more detailed information on the AMPS bolt pattern look HERE. I have been using RAM mounts You will use either a #10-24 or #10-32 bolt through the hole, (metric equivalent will be an M5) the mount will capture the head of the bolt and allow you a seamless build out to a variety of base plates and arms from the below list of manufacturers

I have used RAM AMPS base plates in metal with great success the bolts I use are stainless steel #10-32 at 3/4″ long with just an acorn nut.
